FIRST GENERAL SESSION

> Robyn Benincasa

Wednesday, February 28 | 9:00 to 10:30 AM

Robyn Benincasa is a World Champion Adventure Racer, 3x Guinness World Record Kayaker, San Diego City Firefighter, 10x Ironman Triathlete, New York Times Bestselling author of 'How Winning Works', proud owner of 2 bionic metal hips, and the Founder and CEO of the 501c3 Project Athena Foundation, which helps survivors live an adventurous dream as part of their recovery.

In her spare time, Robyn's favorite hobby is inspiring people to do insane, life-affirming things like run their first triathlon, start their own business, hike the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim, or kayak and ride 100 miles from Key Largo to Key West. This is, after all, who she is and what she does: Robyn inspires people to grab life with one hand, grab their teammates with the other, and create that special magic that allows each of us to become better and stronger together than we would ever be alone.

Perhaps most striking, he accomplished all of that despite slowly losing his sight to a blinding disease - from age 13 to 25. It’s an empowering story. Lidsky’s TED Talk was viewed more than a million times in its first 20 days, and his recently published book, Eyes Wide Open, is a New York Times bestseller.

Our keynote speaker for this session is the inspirational Isaac Lidsky. According to Inc. Magazine, Isaac Lidsky has “the most eclectic resume in business.” He starred as “Weasel” on the NBC sitcom Saved By The Bell: The New Class. He graduated from Harvard College at age 19 with an honors degree in math and computer science. Next, Lidsky founded an internet advertising technology business that continues to thrive. He then returned to Harvard for law school, graduating magna cum laude. As a Justice Department attorney, he argued cases in federal appellate courts on behalf of the United States and never lost a case. He was a Law Clerk to two U.S. Supreme Court Justices, Sandra Day O’Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Today, Lidsky is the CEO of ODC Construction, a company that he founded in 2011.
